Journey Within
Within my photographic practice, I experiment with digital and analogue formats exploring a variety of methodologies; long exposures, colour and mono formats to convey a narrative. I use these tools and techniques to fuel my passion and tell a story of a deeply personal cultural journey.
Journey Within has been a pilgrimage, returning to my roots in Poland and remembering who I am by exploring places, people, and my heritage. Feeling a deep sense of displacement and loss of identity, I began to discover more about myself along the way. Journeying with a hand-built camera enabled me to see. Through the lens I felt more alive, recharged, feeling complete.
